Keith Hanson joined the firm in 2018 with more than 20 years of experience. Mr. Hanson was previously a partner at Legacy Financial Group; he focused on financial planning for individuals as well as small and mid-sized business. As a financial advisor Mr. Hanson offers a client-centered perspective on topics like wealth accumulation, distribution and charitable gifting. He is active in the community as a board member of the small business incubator Digital Sandbox. He has reviewed dozens of start-up business plans and offered critique in a presentation setting. He lives in Overland Park with his wife and four children. Most weekends you’ll find him at kids activities or pretending to still be able to run a quick 5k. Keith graduated from Bob Jones University in 1998 and continued his education via the University of Saint Mary’s MBA program.

Tim Lanz co-founded the firm in 1998 and has worked primarily in operations as Portfolio Manager and Chief Compliance Officer. Tim currently resides with his wife and two boys in Louisburg, Kansas where he graduated high school. He attended Kansas State University where he received Bachelor of Science degrees in International Business, Management and Marketing.
WARD WILLIAMS Advisor
Ward Williams joined the firm in 2019 with more than 30 years of investment experience. Mr. Williams was previously a partner at Paragon Capital Management; Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst at UMB Trust; and was the initial Director of Institutional Markets at Security Benefits Group. Throughout his career, Ward has enjoyed the challenges of wearing multiple hats in the industry: from running the day-to-day operations, managing investments, supervising team members, and serving as compliance officer. However, he believes his most important role is that of fiduciary and adviser to his clients, many of whom have become friends. A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Mr. Williams graduated from Trevecca Nazarene College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has been involved with coaching in the Blue Valley Recreation leagues and volunteering at Shawnee Mission South High School, Indian Woods Middle School and Indian Valley Elementary School where he served on the PTO for four years. Ward has also served on Autism Spectrum Disorder non-profit boards, as well as the Presidents Advisor Council at Nazarene Theological Seminary.
